Adwity is committed to protecting your personal data. We recommend reading this Privacy Policy and Cookies to better understand the information we collect, how we use it, and with whom we may share it. What does the Privacy and Cookies Policy cover?

This Privacy and Cookies Policy describes our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data when you use our services. It informs you of your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

The Privacy and Cookies Policy covers the information collected by Aduity through the platform and details the personal data we process and collect from website visitors, users who complete the registration form to become members of Aduity, or pharmacies listed on the platform.

By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of data in accordance with this Privacy and Cookies Policy.

What Data We Collect or Receive and How

During your use of our services, Adwiti may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personal information may include, but is not limited to: email address, first name and last name, phone number, address, postal code/zip code, city, and usage data.

We collect or receive information in several different ways:

1. Directly from You as a User:

Usage data is collected automatically when using the services. This may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data. When you access the services via a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device's unique ID, your mobile device's IP address, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile internet browser you use, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data. We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our service or when you access the service via a mobile device.

We collect various types of information from you when you provide it directly or when we request it from you. We receive, store, and gather any personal data you provide to us directly through our platform or by any other means, such as emails and phone communications. For example, when you fill out and submit a registration form to become a member of Adwiti, we then receive your contact information including your name, address, email, phone number, and geographic location.

We may also collect information directly from you about others interested in our content or websites. Our websites may include a "send email to a friend" or "share this" feature, which allows someone to email or send content to a third party. If you use this feature, we will use the intended recipient's email address solely for the purpose of sending the relevant content to that person by email. You must never share another person's personal information with others without first obtaining their permission.

2. Third-Party Service Providers and Partners:

We may engage third-party service providers and partners to provide us with information and use publicly available sources to supplement our members' account information to help improve our services. For example:

Supplemental and Third-Party Information: We may collect your personal data or obtain it from third parties who license it to us or otherwise provide it. This may include information provided through phone calls, postal mail, or events from customers or third parties, commercially available sources (e.g., data brokers, data aggregators, public databases, etc.), and from partners or affiliates conducting joint campaigns and initiatives to acquire memberships. For instance, we may contract with a third-party partner or affiliate to contact you via email or phone to determine if you are interested in specific content tailored to your professional interests and/or in becoming a member.

Public Networks and Social Sources: We may collect your personal data or obtain it from publicly accessible sources such as company websites, business directories, or social networking platforms. You can opt-out of information collection and use for targeting advertisements by third parties (such as a social network or advertising platform) by updating your ad settings in your account with the third party or by following the instructions related to tracking technologies described in the section below.

Cookies and Other Tracking Tools:

We use cookies, web beacons, or similar solutions ("tracking technologies") to collect or receive certain information when you visit or use the Adwiti website, read email, or interact with our content. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our services and store certain information to improve and analyze our service. These technologies may include:

Web Beacons:

Certain sections of our services and email messages may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that allow Adwiti, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and gather other related website statistics (e.g., recording popularity of a specific section and verifying system integrity).

Cookies:

Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or use an online service. For example, cookies enable us to recognize you, authenticate you, and remember your preferences so we can enhance your experience on our websites. They also help us deliver advertisements relevant to your professional interests, provide auditing, research, and aggregated reporting for advertisers, understand and improve our service, and know when content is displayed to you. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. We strongly recommend leaving cookies enabled because cookies allow you to take advantage of some of Adwiti's website features. If you reject or delete cookies, some parts of our site and services may not function properly. Even if you opt-out of cookies or delete them, advertisements may still be displayed to you; however, they will not be tailored to your preferences, usage patterns, or professional interests. By law, we will assume your consent to receive all cookies on our websites through your continued use; otherwise, your acceptance of these cookies through your browser settings or our consent management tool will be considered your consent to use these tracking technologies.

Types of Cookies Used by Adwiti:

1.     Necessary/Essential Cookies (Session Cookies): Essential cookies facilitate the operation of our websites and are necessary to provide you with services available through the core system and enable you to use some of its features. Without these cookies, certain parts of our websites may not function properly. For example, we use essential cookies to help us identify which of our visitors have previously registered to access our services. They also assist in user authentication and preventing fraudulent use of user accounts.

2.     Tracking and Performance Cookies (Persistent Cookies): Performance cookies help us monitor the performance of our platforms and how users interact with them. These cookies collect information such as how often users visit our websites, which pages they visit when they do so, and what other websites they used before coming to our websites, providing us with information that helps improve our websites and services. They are primarily used to track information about website traffic and user interaction with the site. We may also use these cookies to test new pages, features, or functionalities of the website to understand how our users interact with them.

3.     Functional Cookies (Persistent Cookies): Functional cookies gather information about your device and any settings you may configure on our website. They are used to remember your preferences on our websites and to verify your identity. For example, we use functional cookies to recognize your username and password and save them on our websites. With this information, Adwiti can provide you with personalized or enhanced content and services. They allow Adwiti to remember choices you make when using our website, such as remembering login details or language preferences. The purpose of these cookies is to provide you with a more personalized experience and avoid requiring you to re-enter your preferences each time you use our site.

4.     Behavioral Advertising Cookies: Adwiti uses behavioral advertising cookies to provide you with specially designed ads that match your interests when you visit websites within and outside our network. Behavioral advertising cookies analyze information related to your interests and browsing history, providing you with ads within and outside our network that align with these interests. Behavioral ads differ from ads you may see when searching for something specific online using a search engine (e.g., Google, Yahoo, Bing) or on a website you visit at a particular time. For example, if you search for products and services related to virtual data center simulation, and a virtual data center simulation provider runs an advertising campaign within our network, you may receive an ad about one of their solutions.

5.     Third-Party Cookies: Adwiti may employ third-party companies and individuals on our website. Adwiti grants these third parties access to specific information to perform specific tasks on behalf of Adwiti. Please note that Adwiti cannot control what these service providers do with these cookies.

6.     Google Universal Analytics Cookies: These cookies are used to collect information about how users use our website. Adwiti uses this information to compile reports and help us improve the site. These cookies collect information in a way that does not directly identify anyone, including the number of visitors to the website and blog, where visitors came from to the website, and which pages they visited. For more details on the information Google may collect, you can visit the following link: Google Privacy Policies

7.     Analytical Cookies: Analytical cookies are used so that online services can collect information about how people access them - for example, how many users are on the website, how long they stay on the website, and which parts of the website they visit. This is also sometimes known as "web audience measurement."
